CMMS software specialist MVP One has released Version 2.22, which introduces new reporting capabilities, dashboard enhancements, and administrative improvements. These enhancements are designed to help maintenance teams gain greater visibility into asset performance and operational data. The update expands reporting functionality across the platform while streamlining user management and system administration.

The release centers on a new custom reporting framework that allows organizations to place reporting widgets directly on the MVP One dashboard. Users can now access operational insights without navigating away from their primary workspace. Support for Czech and Polish languages also was added, helping global organizations standardize maintenance management across multiple facilities.

For maintenance organizations focused on data-driven decision making, the reporting enhancements represent one of the most significant additions in the latest release. The Enterprise edition now includes the Reporting Module and Report Schedules, providing more flexibility for distributing maintenance and inventory information throughout an organization. Model Number and Vendor Part ID fields also have been added to Global Search, making it easier to locate critical asset and inventory information.

Advanced Reporting Supports Better Maintenance Decisions

The most notable enhancement in Version 2.22 is expanding reporting capability. Audit and deleted-record reports are being migrated into the Reporting Module, which allows users to export custom field data and gain deeper visibility into maintenance operations. The addition of dashboard reporting widgets means KPIs, inventory activity, and maintenance metrics can be displayed on the home screen.

Maintenance planners and reliability professionals often rely on accurate reporting to identify recurring failures, monitor preventive maintenance compliance, and track inventory consumption. The Reporting API also enables Enterprise users to pull part transaction information, creating additional opportunities for integration with business intelligence platforms and analytics tools.

The release also adds report scheduling capabilities, helping organizations automate the distribution of maintenance information to supervisors, managers, and executives. Automated reporting can reduce administrative effort while ensuring stakeholders receive timely updates on asset performance, work order activity, and inventory trends.

Version 2.22 Provides Improved Visibility, User Experience

Version 2.22 includes several administrative enhancements aimed at improving system usability and operational oversight. The Administration menu has been relocated to the upper-right corner of the application while the Licensing page received a redesigned interface that provides better visibility into user licenses, report schedules, and API usage.

Additional admin improvements include IP tracking for mobile devices, a new Last Sync Time column for mobile device management, and a new OPC Connector option to help organizations manage OPC certificate expirations. Company Settings now includes a Default Languages option that simplifies multilingual deployments.

For maintenance teams, the release also introduces greater transparency in preventive maintenance workflows. Work orders generated from meter-based PMs using Generation Lead Days now include notes explaining how the work order was created. This added context can improve planning accuracy and help technicians better understand potential maintenance triggers.

Version 2.22 Impact for Maintenance Professionals and Executives

Better reporting creates faster decisions. Maintenance professionals can access operational data directly from dashboards, which reduces time spent searching for information and increases time spent addressing asset reliability issues.

Improved visibility strengthens reliability programs. Reliability engineers can use expanded reporting, scheduled reports, and enhanced search capabilities to identify trends, monitor performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Executives gain clearer operational insight. Enhanced reporting tools, licensing visibility and API integrations provide leadership teams with more accurate maintenance and asset management data to support strategic planning and resource allocation.
